This company is a complete ripoff. They tie you up in a contract with no escape clause.

I installed their system in 2017. Within the 1st year I lost all ability to have monitoring. My doorbell camera stopped working, I was unable to get any assistance from "customer support". I finally decided to go back to my original security company. In 2019 after changing out the equipment I informed Vivint that I want to cancel my account and asked if I needed to return the equipment. The person I talked to said they would take care of the account and that the equipment did not need to be returned. In the meantime 2 years later I find out there is an involved process to cancel and pay off the equipment. Which I no longer possessed. User's recommendation: BUYER BE VERY AWARE. Be sure to read all the fine print.
