They decided not to pay a legitimate claim they agree is legitimate and should be paid. I have a vision care company sending me to collections. I have spent hours with them getting a world-class runaround. The provider gets the runaround too. Spectra / United Healthcare will rip you off, and then add insult to injury by wasting your time. I spent 10 hours in calls and conversations with their reps. and the provider. The provider spent 8 hours on this. Spectra spent 4 hours. All over a $129 charge. This is part of a very pricey Obama care policy with United Health Care. This a sad symptom of our very broken healthcare / insurance industry that worked just fine until the government got involved.
