When I attempted to call the Atlanta VA medical center to get an appointment for radiological appointment for a CT scan ordered by my doctor the number rang once and then nothing. How can such a busy telephone number not be in service? Are the worker there oblivious that their lines are not working? Couldn't there be at least a recording indicating the line is down temporarily and the issue is being worked? It is extremely frustrating for veterans like myself to not be able to use the telephone number I am supposed to use and have that number not working. User's recommendation: None, just submit complaints to anyone who will listen as to the failure of VA to provide the services they are supposed to provide.
