I ordered a bed from Cymax to be delivered just after I moved into my new place. I figured one day sleeping on the couch wouldn't be too bad. The day of delivery I got my headboard and footboard - no bed rails. Opening them up was the ONLY way I discovered that there were no side rails with the order, despite the fact that the description specifically says "bed frame." Called, was told by a machine that they would call back, they didn't. Called, was put on hold for literally over a half hour, was told by a person that I was completely right and they would transfer me to someone who could fix it. That person did NOT fix it and told me I should just find a set on Craigslist. Or they would sell me a set for $89 plus shipping. Thought about it, decided I wanted to take it further and called back again to this guy's direct line. Was told he was on another call and would get back to me. He didn't. Filed a complaint with BBB. Two months later got a call saying they were very sorry and they would send me a set of rails. I had already bought some on Amazon for $53. I was told they would refund me. The refunded $40 three weeks later. I tried to find out why the $13 discrepancy, nothing. Filed a follow up with BBB. as of this morning I get a follow up through the BBB site saying the guy I spoke with was no longer there, $40 was the price I agreed up for a refund (when did this conversation take place? no idea) and that the new guy had provided his contact information in the last conversation (which I apparently must have had in my sleep) and that Cymax would, no way no how, refund my full amount. Very rude letter, worst customer service ever.
