The computer is elevated with a foam rubber guard underneath (it's in its own dedicated computer room). It has a ceiling and four Walls so that alone would render the scenario as described impossible. There is no way to get the video card wet in isolation without completely shortening out the computer and the computer is fully functioning and works perfectly. IF there was water damage as they describe then it was done prior to us receiving the card. Therefore, some other conclusion must be reached in this matter. Additionally, we are faithful and loyal customers who have owned in our lifetime over 20 Nvidia cards and currently in our possession, all four computers have Nvidia cards. We have always said good things to others about the EVGA cards and company. Thank you, Mirsha
