The Interest clock starts ticking when you receive your purchase

I have documentation for the entire complaint. I bought furniture from the Boscov's store, Vineland, NJ. A beautiful 4 piece sectional, and a recliner chair. I ORDERED the furniture on May 20, 2014. I purchased it on a 2 year interest-free plan. I was suffering from cancer complications, and pleaded with the salesperson to rush the order (I had to sleep sitting up, as I had a right hand in a rigid cast from fingers to elbow).... so I needed this furniture as an alternative place to sleep. About July 1, I called Boscov's Vineland, to tell them if they did not have my furniture ready NOW, to cancel my order and I would buy new furniture at Ashley, who had the exact same thing on sale... Lo, and behold...The furniture came in, and I was NOT called to arrange delivery. I made arrangements right then for removal of the old furniture, and delivery of the new set. It was delivered 5 July. ACCORDING TO THE CONTRACT, I SHOULD HAVE HAD TIL JULY 2016 to PAY THIS FURNITURE OFF.... When the July 2016 statement came, I knew I owed about $450, since I made other purchases at Boscov's for Father's Day.... The 2 yrs interest free should have been paid in full with that statement and done. UNKNOWN TO ME--Boscovs set the clock to charge me interest from May 20, 2014, and on the July bill I was slapped with a $2200 interest charge!! Boscovs did/does have documents to support my claim, and sent them to me upon request.. Despite the fact that I have been a star customer from the time they opened here at Cumberland Mall, and they had all of the proof of purchase, delivery, etc. to support my case, they refused to help fix my situation.. My issue was dumped into the hands of their credit card issuer, Comedy Bank--- who refused to even listen to my story. Then my $450 debt turned to over $2900 thanks to exorbitant fees and interest charges which are best described as usury.., my defaulted loan was sold to Midland Collection, who won't settle for anything less than $1500. IF I pay these slimeballs at Midland $1500 to get them out of my life, they have the right to soak me with a 1099CP, which will force me to pay taxes on the remaining $1500 as income! UNBELIEVABLE!! What I want--the date when the 2 year interest free grace period to be adjusted to July 2014, when I owned my furniture. I want to have the interest charge thrown on back in May 2016 to be waived. I will pay what I owed (about $450) when the grace period ended. Finally, I want the 3 credit bureaus to clean up my credit.
