I had a minor issue about the dampers on the Pit Boss Silver Star Series 3 Electric Digital Smoker cabinet body, for which a plausible explanation was provided by Pit Boss. There was a much larger issue that turned out to be the electrical control panel having to be replaced: Pit Boss is sending a new electrical control panel at no cost to me, and has already cut the order for the unit to be shipped. User's recommendation: Don't be afraid to purchase from Pit Boss. Their grills and smokers now come with an industry-leading 5-year warrantee.
