We bought our house on May 13, 2013 and the seller said she had paid for lawn services through the end of May. She didn't particularly recommend Suntree Tree Service and Lawn Care (Jamie Strachan) however being new to the area we didn't know who else to hire so we sent him a check for $90 for June services. He did not show up for 3 straight weeks! As new residents I worried what the neighbors must think. I called over and over - no answer, no reply. In fact, he did not reply until I said he was fired! Within minutes of me leaving the message that he was fired, he called back with a whole load of excuses - his aunt died of MRSA, his mower broke down, he didn't have any money, etc. He asked if he could come work it off in other lawn services and I said to come over and make a proposal. AGAIN, he never showed up! I have been trying for months to get my money back. In December I called from a different phone number and he actually answered. He said he couldn't pay me in December because he'd been very sick. He said he could pay me by January 15th because he would get paid in early January. No surprises - he has NOT paid. I have called to remind him twice and of course he does not answer or return my calls. I would like my $90 back, but barring that, I will be sure to tell everyone I know never to hire him for lawn services!
