Still not refunded for goods returned

I returned an item which was faulty, on the advice of the manufacturer. Amazon received this on 1st July. I have communicated with them by email, chat, and telephone, and they assure me the refund is being processed but could take up to 2 weeks. Next Thursday, 15th July, it will be 2 weeks! I am still waiting! Are they stringing this out because of my complaint?? Are they stringing this out because of my complaint?? User's recommendation: If an item over £100 in value is returned it will be a long time before you see your money again!
