“Something went wrong try again later”message

The company did absolutely nothing other than sending a canned response emphasizing that its policy is not to respond to every individually to every complaint. The problem persists but Duolingo apparently couldnt care less. When I Googled the problem I found that others have had the problem but there is no plain solution to it. If I remove the app then I lose a year s class progress. User's recommendation: Duolingo can just pull the rug out from under you this way albeit probably unintentionally.

If you are actual Representative of Duolingo you can contact the user using the comment form and help resolve the situation. The user can always mark his complaint as "resolved". Maintain your brand image, it is FREE.
