Service complaint with store and customer service

Purchased a pair of boots at a Aldo store inside a PA mall. The store manager was rude and completely unprofessional. He stated the shoes had been worn and would not accept them back. I contacted Aldo customer service to file a complaint, not sure if that was actually done, but they did take back the shoes. I was expected to receive a refund once they received the shoes and processed it. This was 2/1/21 when the refund was supposed to have been processed, they received the shoes on 12/24/20. I was informed by 2 other representatives it would take about 1 week from the date of process, with every week passing I called back. By the 3rd representative I spoke with, she stated I was misinformed and it would take up to 4 weeks. It is now 3/2/21 and still nothing. I contacted Aldo customer service again, the representative put me on hold for 15 minutes all to tell me she can see it was requested on 2/1/21, but can tell if the refund was actually processed and now I should wait 1 more week. This is unacceptable and I should have never had to go through this from the beginning. The shoes were not worn and perfectly fine.
