Hi, I took a loan of 14500 at African Bank in November 2011, The consultant separate the loans in to two of which I didn't Understand the reason for doing that. The 1st loan was R10000 and the 2nd one was R4500. The agreement I signed was 30 months for R10000 and 12 Months for R4500. I settle a loan of R10000 in December 2012.as I was hoping I've paid up R4500 already in November 2012 but I was surprised when the money still deducted from my account even now. I contacted the African Bank head office they refer me to Richards Bay Branch. I called Richards Bay branch they refer me back to their head office once again. The only thing they told me is about the Card that I didn't even want it from the beginning. Richards Bay Branch they tried to explain to me about their Card now how it work of which this is not helping me. I was supposed to be told everything about the card from the beginning not now and the agreement that I signed was state the period of 12 months of which I've already paid for those Months. the other thing that mentioned now is that this card will be active for 4 years. I used this card once when I was withdrawing the money thereafter I destroy it. ..... Now I'm confuse I don't know how long I will be paying for this and disappointed with this bank.... This is very sad. Why this were not explained to me before, The agreement I signed why it was stating 12 month??? while they know I will be paying more then that..that how they treat their clients. My family, friend and colleague they all disappointed when I told them about this situation... it frustrating.
