I hired a resume writing company and signed a contract to have certain services for a certain price. The first call to cover what I needed, she was completely unprepared and I had to waste time repeating what I wanted. She never did anything for me. The second call she went on and on with general conversation, again, I had to waste time repeating what Id already told her several times. After her offering the services she claimed to know, and me choosing the pkg I wanted, she tells me the process will take months. I never would have went with that had I known she would take so long. When people are job searching, they need help they pay for right away so as to not lose out on prospective opportunities. I asked her to complete a resume with details about an opportunity that required me to commute and she proceeded to lecture me on fuel prices and the stress of driving. I am an adult and that's not what I paid her for. She basically refused to do what I asked. I then found a job without her help what so ever, and asked her to refund my money, as she did absolutely nothing for me. She did nothing. She refused as I signed a contract. Very poor business practice.
