Replacement Lock ona hope chest

I would love to give feedback but never had a chance to talk to anyone. I was just trying to get a replacement lock for an old hope chest to prevent my grandson from being injured... I sent an email over a month ago and have tried the number... it automatically puts me on hold for about 30 minutes... then says unable to complete call and hangs up. I guess this is bad customer service, right? User's recommendation: Go with a furniture company that offers customer service.
