Question about sending to same recipient wit different bank, account and IFSC code

I didnt get what I wanted, I wanted to know why there is no option for me to enter the IFSC code, as the money was going to a new bank? Without that code number how do you know which branch of the bank our money will be deposited. The person from customer service didnt have clear cut answer,.
