Promotional Screw Up/Interest To My Account

Allow me to begin by stating that Synchrony Customer Service is the worst I have experienced in my life. I have placed FIVE phone calls (each with a hold time of 40-60 minutes) and the issue I am about to describe is still not resolved. On my third call, I was told that all I needed to do was fax the requested documentation and my account would be adjusted. I did that and nothing happened. I called for a fourth time. I was transferred to one supervisor, then another, and just when I thought I was getting somewhere, the customer service agent hung up. I called again the next day. SAME THING. I was transferred several times just to have an agent disconnect the line. I did not receive a call back either time, even though I made sure they had my number in case we were disconnected. The issue that I have been working diligently to get resolved is as follows. Last year, I purchased goods through a local vendor using a Synchrony credit account. On the initial paperwork that I received; it states that the interest free promotion ends on 08/19/2021. However, I was charged back-interest in its entirety on my June statement. I faxed my records of the August expiry date (the requested documentation mentioned above), yet the interest still has not been removed from my account - a total of $3, 182.56. My remaining balance, less interest, is $930.64. This will be paid in full prior to the August 19th promotion expiration date. I am asking, again, please remove the interest from my account.
