Purchased a Tracfone from their website Tracfone.com but cellphone purchased was never received. Tracfone Customer Service is based upon an existing Tracfone telephone number.. without a Tracfone number they cannot issue a refund.Because I had purchased a cell phone and not yet an existing customer with a Tracfone issued telephone number as I had no phone to activate, Customer Service said they could not process my request. A catch 22 built into their lack of customer service. User's recommendation: Buyer beware.. Tracfone uses FedEx for shipping itmes and requires a signature upon delivery. In my area FedEx drivers don't attempt to deliver as they don;t want to go through trouble of getting a signature... thus, package is not delivered. FedEx can't provide service, Tracfone denies any responsibility.
