Prepay scam

A Prepay reservation was placed on Hertz.com on 4/15/21 for pickup 4/16/21 for 2pm at the Fresno, CA airport location. Upon arrival at 1:30 we were told we would need to wait till 2pm. At 2:03 we returned where we were told our reservation was cancelled without any notification. They stated they could not provide a reason but blamed us, and could provide another car for an up charge. We did not cancel this reservation. The local office would not provide any more information and even refused to provide a print out showing the cancellation. The 800 number, would not provide any information either or confirm that we would not be charged for cancellation. This is fraudulent business practice. I want a full refund and my second reservation for May cancelled without penalties. I don't trust Hertz to not leave us stranded a second time based on the experience encountered with Hertz with this reservation.
