150 quid offered for a 372 quid bill. Apparently age, wear, mode of failure and betterment all come into play. No mention of anything except betterment and that means youre stuffed as anything can be classed as betterment on a car over 5 yrs old. Claim was for a door lock which i dont consider to be an improvement under the betterment clause as a lock is a lock... they think it is. Sent file to ombudsmen before i get cross. Bunch of arsewipes and deserve to all be out of a job for thinking ripping people off is a great way to spend 5 days a week.
