I also bought stamps from a UPS store and was charged a higher price than they sell for anywhere else. For a $10 book of stamps I was charged $12.20. I thought that was high so I asked the salesperson if UPS rates were the same as the post office. She said she thought so but she wasn't sure. I just thought maybe the rates had gone up but no, they had not. If she had been honest and told me they were more I would not have bought them there. I have a post office near my home and also the grocery stores and convenience stores all charge the same as the post office. WHAT A RIP OFF!! I was going to use them to ship my Xmas packages but I won't now; I'll use USPS or FedEx.
