Over charged and total incompetence – do NOT use

This is the first time I have taken the time to provide a review on anything other thna eBay - but this shower are useless: 1. When I booked in the pickup of my crate - I was told that they would collect at a time between 12:00 and 17:00. I called the day before to check and the person on the phone told me 11:00 to 15:00. They collected at 09:00!!! 2. Once collected - I checked that their system was tracking package - and hour after collection it stated it had not only been collected - but delivered as well - even though it was going from Sydney to Townsville in QLD - amazing! Called them I operator did not have a clue. 3. Package was delivered - but took me a call to destination to confirm. This is when fun started. Allied Express then charged me an addional $146.00 to the $200.00 I had apid as the crate (according to them) was larger that I had stated. I called them and was told you cannnot speak to someone about this (they also denied that the package has been delivered - even though they had charged me again!!) - only option is to send email. No response. 4. I then started charge back proceedings through my Credit Card. About week later got an email from the person in question - they had been on leave. They saif they woudl look into it. 5. A week later got a refund - no apology. I bet they try this stunt on a lot - and hope people dont notice card has been charged or give up chasing a refund. The staff on the phones (mostly young) try their best - but the systems are rubbish and they show no care. Very, very poor service. Use them at your peril!!
