South African Airways conducted two flights on behalf of Etihad Airways. In fact South African Airways by far outclassed Etihad. Staff friendly, tasty food and even to our surprise good wines served. There is also more leg space in economy compared to Etihad. South African Airways was very helpful tracing the lost luggage (which Etihad left thousands of pieces behind). Petty SAA gets finger pointed by customers as they believe they lost the luggage (from the about 320 pax on the aircraft 150 arrived without luggage at OR Tambo Johannesburg) while the blame is entirely with Etihad. It was my first and last experience with Etihad and in future travelling South African Airways is high on my list.
