I was rear ended while driving to work. I suffered injuries covering my whole back. Desjardins explained that the healing time for an injury like this is 3 to 7 days and denied me my benefits before the injury even reached its peak. They requested duplicate information and wouldn't follow up with information once it was received. They seem to only be interested in finding reasons to deny claims and force people back to work before they have had time to heal and recover. They have acknowledge my doctors support of my time off but have indicated that they will decide if I should be off work and not my doctor.
