Offer to freeze my membership not honoured

I wish to cancel my membership. I have called to cancel, filled in forms to cancel, been offered a freeze of membership for four months. NONE OF THE AGREEMENTS HAVE BEEN HONOURED. I have been a Virgin Active member for over twenty years now. I have valid reasons for cancelling my membership. AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE, EVEN IF I WANTED A GYM MEMBERSHIP I WOULD GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I WOULD ALSO ADVISE ANYONE WHO ASKED NOT TO SIGN UP WITH A COMPANY WHICH IS CONSTANTLY, INCOMPETENTLY "OFF-LINE".
