Not Honoring or accommodating

On two different occasions Ive made reservations with Hertz well in advance for them to only tell me, oh we dont have any vehicles. Then nothing is done to try to accommodate me as a customer. Im not trying to hear we have over 100 reservations for today. Is that my concern...NO! When trying another location that have a vehicle they said we cant honor that reservation on top of trying to charge the price for one day which was the same as the amount for the five days I was going to keep it. This is crazy especially when it impacts us traveling for vacation. Why over book? User's recommendation: Call ahead/find someone reliable.
