Not covering a needed repair in a timely manner

refrigerator compressor stopped and there was no cooling.A claim was made and an authorized service tech came out to the house.He followed American Home Shield orders to try to revive the compressor and still no cooling as the compressor quit.The authorized tech diagnosed compressor needed to be replaced and they have not authorized it.We have spent $20 dollars a day in dry ice to try to keep food cold for three weeks and still AHS says they are reviewing it for the lasdt 10 days.
