My husband and I were booked on a cruise in Nov 2019 but four weeks before our departure I ended up in emergency. Over the course of the next seven weeks there were three more trips to emergency and two surgeries. Carnival Cruise Line refunded most of the cost. I submitted all paperwork that AON asked for. My doctor and Kaiser submitted two difference verifications of my disability. AON then wanted my health records going back seven months before the cruise which I believe is a HIPA violation and certainly unethical. In May 2020 they simply "closed" my claim saying they didn't get the information they requested. I have kept ALL documents. I am warning everyone I know who travels not to buy AON insurance. User's recommendation: Do NOT buy AON travel insurance.
