Moneygram (Ria Financial Services)

2

I am a licensed Colorado bail agent. I have utilized Walmart Moneygram to receive payment of fees. An elderly gentleman who is a retired attorney, out of state attempted three times to pay for a family member to be released from custody under bond. The first time he made the trip to Walmart and the transfer was flagged; he was lectured by a foreign person (very difficult to understand) and told he should not send money to anyone he doesn't know. He retrieved his money & resent 2 smaller transfers. Again both transfers are flagged & he has to make another trip to pick up his funds. A complete waste of time. Both for sender & the receiver. Walmart moneygram appears to be a scam service & not what it professes to be.
