missing mail
1
I'm writing to make a complaint about an ongoing problem. I've delayed making a complaint here because I was told the complaint would simply be referred to the branch where the problem is happening. So I took my complaint to my post office where the problem resides on numerous occasions but still the problem persists. I need an action to take place at a higher level because obviously they can not resolve it locally. My problem is that my mail is delivered to a community mailbox. With my address being 1103 Baxter's Harbor Rd. and a neighbors being 1103 Gospel Woods road, our mail is mixed up far too much. When I receive my neighbors mail, I simply put it back in the box (sometimes for multiple times before its relocated into the correct box) but my neighbor doesn't always do the same. In one incident I had to have a new credit card sent out 3 times before I finally received it. This is totally unacceptable. After complaining several times at the Canning, Nova Scotia, branch, things were still not improving, so I waited until I received my neighbors mail again, then instead of returning it to the box, I took it to the post office to PROVE it was still ongoing. Yesterday my neighbor surprised me by actually bringing my mail to my door stating it was in her box again. I'm at my wits end trying to get this worked out and just registering a complaint with the post office in question is NOT resolving the issue. The carrier is NOT verifying the name on the mail, instead they are only looking at the civic number. I need SOMEONE at a higher level to do something to rectify this. PLEASE. The Canning, Nova Scotia, post office is incapable of resolving this on their own!
