Misled my 85 yr old Mother
3 years ago Festiva convinced my mother to convert her ownership (plus a large payment) at Festiva Ocean Club in N Myrtle Beach to points, ensuring her that she could get a deluxe 2 BR unit the same week she had each year and that the maintenance fees would not be going up like they would if she remained an owner. The past 3 years she has not been able to get the Deluxe 2 BR and for 2010 she can not even get a 2 BR. Was told other Festiva customers are higher rated than her...whatever that means. Also her maintenance fee has gone up dramatically since converting from ownership to points. Shame on the Festiva Reps for treating my trusting mother like this.
