Misleading product by Globe and Mail
Yesterday, I decided to try "Globe Unlimited" subscription product provided by The Globe and Mail -- major Canadian newspaper http://www.theglobeandmail.com/ I assumed that the term Unlimited implies a full access to all their content available online. Their Help and FAQ pages suggest the same: http://feedback.theglobeandmail.com/knowledgebase/articles/118854-what-do-i-get-with-a-subscription-to-globe-unlimit http://feedback.theglobeandmail.com/knowledgebase/articles/124473-what-is-globe-unlimited-and-how-does-it-work- http://feedback.theglobeandmail.com/knowledgebase/articles/130751-how-is-this-different-from-globe2go-access-or-glob It turned out that the subscription does not provide access to every day news available online under a different product called Globe2Go. Basically, the "Globe Unlimited" does not provide access to the news and article available in both printed newspaper and its epaper version called Globe2Go. They refused to refund me the subscription fee although I requested it 10 minutes after registering for the service. I am really embarrassed by the tricks this newspaper uses to mislead and confused readers in order to make more money online. Ilya
