We stupidly purchased the five year extended warranty in this chair. When it started making nosies that were driving me nuts, we went back to store where we bought. We were rather rudely told they can't help (even though we bought the insurance) and to call customer service. What a joke!! You can never get an answer. Finally gave up, tried to fix it ourselves to no avail. Husband wants to chuck it, but we paid almost 1000.00 for it six years ago. Such a waste. Never will we buy another LazyBoy product again! User's recommendation: Very poor in the recliner area.
