Lack of plant knowledge

My boyfriend sent me a kalanchoe plant for Valentine's Day 2018. When I opened the delivery, the plant was freezing, the leaves were very wet and most of the blooms were already dead. Kalanchoes are very sensitive to cold temperatures and overwatering, which a plant delivery service should know (it even says on the care instructions to keep it in moderate temperatures and to avoid overwatering/sitting in water). Within 3 days of having this plant it is almost completely withered. My boyfriend has since tried to contact customer service for either a new plant or a refund but hasn't heard back from them yet. I would recommend ProFlowers for any flower deliveries!!
