I bought my first Lazy Boy in the 1980's. It would have lasted longer had my cat not gotten hold of it. When my cat passed in 2000, I bought my second which I still have. It looks great but is beginning to lose a little padding. (After all it is over 20 yrs. old). I want to replace this one with another with more padding. Looking at the reviews, something must have changed because I have nothing but praise for these 2 older models. User's recommendation: I'm giving my review based on my past experiences only.
