Irritating commercials and show promotions

I am so sick of seeing the same hype for the various shows, especially Great American County. It has been years and none have changed. I find I can no longer watch these shows. Also, the same drug commercials, among others are repeated over and over. User's recommendation: I would recommend you find a way to filter out the annoying promotions.
