I lost money, received no furniture, then was contacted by the delivery company HEP Direct in North Carolina and was told I had to pay an additional $377 for them to deliver 1 piece of furniture they had in their warehouse from my Bari Leather order. Sounds like ransom money for my furniture. No thanks. I've been fuming over this for years now and want to find out if i can do anything about it. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and no resolution whatsoever. I was told I could fight in Small Claims Court in Florida, but I lived in Virginia at the time nor did I have the means to enter a legal battle. I want them to pay and I know there are tons of others who got scammed in the closing/bankruptcy of BARI LEATHER as well.
