Ice cream question

1

Elaidja helped me with my question about Breyers adding the gums to their ice cream in the early 2000s. I’m allergic to the gums and am so disappointed that Breyer’s changed their original fabulous ice cream formula made with only milk, sugar, cream, salt and vanilla to one that included gums and other stabilizers. It was the best tasting, freshest ice cream and we stayed with it until I had a reaction to the gums, not knowing they had changed the formula. It also had a different mouth feel but I thought it was me. I’m respectfully requesting that Breyers/Unilever consider eliminating those gums and returning to their original formula, perhaps at least make one of your ice cream lines - or one of your vanilla ice creams - without any gums or stabilizers for people like me. Thanks so much for listening! Sincerely, Janet 619-306-**** (cell/text) User's recommendation: Breyer’s original ice cream recipe was wonderful. Please ask them to eliminate the gums and other product stabilizers.
