I wanted to switch to Credo for its progressive values but they are just another big corporation

Ordered a Samsung Galaxy 8. It came and I activated it and found no way to be notified that I had voicemails. Thought it was me and I had done something wrong so tried to get help but could not get through to customer service. Finally got through and was informed that there was no notification because Samsung had trouble with the software. I decided to go back to the model that I was previously had with Verizon that had no problem with notifications, Samsung S7. So I told them to exchange it. I was sent the S7 and received it yesterday and have spent over three hours on the phone because they gave me the wrong activation and again had no way of being notified of voicemails. So I started calling customer service again since it appeared that it must be a Credo problem and not the phone. One of the customer reps finally admitted that I had been misled and it was credo that did not support the notifications. I then realized that exchanging the phones was all based on misrepresentations and I was led to believe, falsely, that by changing back to the phone I had the problem would be fixed. Despite admitting that they misled me, they have refused to make any adjustments to the price of the second phone that turned out to be more expensive because the exchange triggered a price increase. Even though it was based on their misrepresentations. These are not the good people I thought they were.
