I lost my balance and fell on the floor. I can’t get up by myself as my left arm has someone else’s bone in it. I had the bone with cancer removed and it was replaced. It has a rod holding the bone up. I can only raise my left arm up ¼ of the way. I called Life Alert. The emergency person stayed on the phone until the paramedics came. I know how to fall, so I didn’t get hurt and didn’t have to go to the hospital… My insurance company sent me a free [medical alert] but I don’t use it because I trust Life Alert.
