I am filing a complaint about the pharmacist on duty on 9/10/21 @ 6:04 p.m.

My scripts are filled at the Rite aid location 8601Bltimore National Pike, Ellicott City, MD. On 9/10/21, I received a text at 6:04 p.m. stating my med was out of stock. That concerned me because I had gone to the store earlier in the day (before noon) and was told by the pharmacist my medicine had come in, but because they were busy giving flu shots, no one had time to fill the prescription. I asked if it would be ready on Saturday and she responded it would, so when the text came, I was surprised. I called and spoke with the pharmacist on duty (at least I tried talking with her). She stated there were only 30 of my pills available (instead of the 90 I normally get) because the pills I needed were no longer being supplied by Rite Aide's supplier and had to come from another company. I had already been in that store twice this week and was not told that. I'm filing this complaint because during the conversation, this female pharmacist talked over me, basically controlling the conversation. This pharmacist was very aggressive (rude) in her response. She cut me off as I was speaking, then abruptly hung up, ending the conversation. I immediately called back, speaking this time to a gentleman, who answered my questions and was polite. I have used this store location for many years, filling prescriptions, shopping in the store, and have never been treated as I was by this particular pharmacist. There is a pharmacy tech and some pharmacists who greet me by name when I shop there and that is a good feeling. I am a RN (but that shouldn't matter), and customer service is highly stressed in my field. I hoe to never encounter this pharmacist again, but if I do, and she acts that way again, I will try to remain level headed and not stoop to her level of stupidity. How does Rite Aid employee someone so rude.
