Huge waste of money – $5,000
Shortly after I bought my hearing aids, the office I dealt with closed their doors. The company that was supposed to step in to help Zounds customers, Swift Audiology, told me that they could not purchase batteries from Zounds, and tried to get me to buy their hearing aids, like I was going to write another check for $5,000 or more. After much research, I found a company in King of Prussia, Pa that could repair my hearing aids. That is 323 miles from my house. I sent the right hearing aid to them on June 15, 2018 as it just stopped working. It cost me $99 for the repair plus postage. So much for the three-year warranty I was supposed to have from Zounds. Now it has stopped working again. And Mr. Thomasson has the nerve to send me a "thank you" letter with the offer to purchase yet another set of defective hearing aids.
