Hotel reservation cancelation

on April 20th I made a hotel reservation for mgm grand detroit. And also for dprime restaurant. Long story short. I had to cancel both reservations. I called shortly before 10am on the 21st to cancel the hotel reservation which was granted I thought. But also cancel my dinner reservation. Which I later noticed they sent me a confirmation email for the dinner cancelation. Never received one for hotel. Same phone call I believe same person handled both. Did the hotel one first. Anyways went there last night to find out I had express comps left because they used it for a no-show on room. Called vip basically told me I'm [censored] out of luck. Was hoping to get this comp back. Player id [protected]. Didn't even know about a confirmation email. Or I eould have looked out for one. Wondering how ball got dropped. And who was responsible on your end. Canceled hotel before dining on same phone call
