Horrible Invasion of privacy service

Update by user Feb 12, 2021 Cox cable is now sending me bills I already paid ... They also deliberately turn off my service in the middle of gaming while giving me the lowest Ethernet speed possible ... I understand they are hiring staff off the streets to do jobs that require six months training ... I don't understand how their able to be considered a company ... When I receive new identification I will try to move to another company ... But I am in a plan so I will probably not move because it will effect my credit to drop them totally ... So basically they get you into a plan then they steal from you and use your private information while you paying them what they ask you to pay ... Update by user Nov 24, 2020 Cox has invaded my service more and blocks me from saving post on forums ... and turns pages off ... their technician informed me that i cannot get better service and i should down grade to pay for the low service i get ... i have pictures below that show them spooling every comment i make on line and theyre admin use their connections to turn off my appliances ... they also added additional services to my plan and charged me for them ... the email is below ... they told me on the phone this is the last time they will discount the price for their low service ... so their basically telling me their giving me broken service and they wont fix the service and i cannot complain because their communist ... and they use my service when they want and my credit card when they want ... i am a disabled veteran and this is the new america i guess ... i accidently posted this on my assurance wireless rant so if you see it their please disregard or not because they do the same as cox ... i actually thought about it ... you cannot wdit these post so a admin would have to remove it ... but assurance wireless is extremely horrible its so bad i keep the phone off unless im calling some one ... Original review posted by user Nov 10, 2020 Basically I pay 60 bucks for the last three months for the lowest wifi speed possible and customer service tells me not to use service during peak hours during the day because their service is slow because every one is using it ... Sounds like im living in every neighbors home ... not only that I called to express how slow the service was and the technician explained she couldn't see what the problem is on my system because sometimes their server system works and other days it doesnt ... on top of that one technician informed me he had to have Cox come out to his place 10 or so times before they found out they needed to replace the cable in the wall which were old ... which I believe is my problem but they neglect to ever want to do that or to come out and analyze problems ... not only that It seems as if some one constantly is easly accessing my terminals most likely because Cox has conglomerated the neighborhoods internet into a bundle for easier flow and cheaper than individual access ...Cox customer service is fine but no problems are fixed they basically offered me to pay an additional 10 dollar system to be able to go into their ... say again their ... wifi system and analyze their problems that they already are charging me for... Cox cable is absolute lunacy and their customer service will explain their lunacy ... basically their customer service tells you everything they shouldnt be doing and that they shouldn't be saying ... telling me not to use internet during peak hours means other people are bundled into my personal internet and I am not paying for sharing the internet with the neighborhood or I would just go to starbucks and use free wifi ... I have never had worse service than Cox ... I literally stay with it to see how much worse it can get and how many more people can break into their security service ... User's recommendation: stay away ... stay far away...
