Michael Homes has never built in Fort McMurray before. My neighbour received a quote from them, and the first quote was $300, 000 more than the insurance company. The second quote was $50, 000 less than the insurance company. What I don't understand is how a builder can quote the same home with a $350, 000 difference between their quotes? I did some research on their company and it turns out they have a lot of lawsuits from people whose homes they built. I checked with my friend who works at the bank and she said that the banks wont even lend any money to this builder. Michael Homes shame on you for trying to take advantage of the people of Fort McMurray who have lost their homes.
