A friend of mine said the company was wonderful and told me to call, as I was totally confused about Medicare and what to do. I explained this to the lady that answered and she transferred me to a man. When I told the man I did not know if I had a Medicare number yet, that I had applied but hadn't been given a card yet, and that I had Blue Cross already and Tricare, he said, "All you need is Tricare." "Just call them." and that was it. He said goodbye. I called Tricare and they said that if I did not have Medicare, I did not have Tricare for Life. And they hung up too. I guess I just expected more help from Boomer. My friend acted as if, you call, and then ALL your problems are over they find out what is what, educate you, explain all you need to know in order to make the decisions; and then they do it all after that. Probably their short and sweet advice was good, I don't know yet. I guess maybe I was expecting my hand to be held.
