HD8008 does not work as advertised

HD 8008 does not pick up ABC. The company put me thru a lot of hoops saying it was everything but their antenna. Went to Lowes and got a GE antenna and it worked great right out of the box, no amplifier, no problem with Tivo. LAVA will not accept responsibility for a *** product. Buyer beware, there are a lot of bad reviews. This company is the worst internet experience EVER!
