Periodically throughout the day and night, regardless of the channel I am watching, i get screen freezes, sound goes out, then comes back, goes out again in a few minutes or sometime in an hour. MY INTERNET IS SLOW AS WELL! I have rebooted the modem on 3 separate occasions, over a period of 3 days. It works fine for a couple of hours and then screen goes black for 30 seconds, comes back with picture and sound, then sound goes out for a minute or two nd comes back on its own. I can't wait to move out of Virginia so I don't have Cox. User's recommendation: choose any option but COX if there is any choice.
