On 4/22/21, I placed two separate lunch orders with GrubHub (from two different restaurants) in Lafayette, LA. The driver (same driver for both orders) did not deliver either order b/c he was unable to reach me by phone. He said he called me 5 times; however, my phone never rang. When I tried to explain that he must have called the wrong phone number, he became irate and hung up on me. I tracked my order online, which indicated that the order had been delivered. I called driver back and asked where he delivered my order. He said that he gave it to the homeless. My husband then called him for more information. The driver handed the phone to another person in his vehicle (a female) who was screaming at my husband and wanted to meet/fight me (the wife). I called GrubHub and made the complaint. GrubHub indicated that my two orders would be refunded. I certainly hope that this driver does not behave to anyone else the way he behaved with my husband and me. This was the bad behavior of only one driver; however, this incident makes me never want to order with GrubHub again.
