Follow up on air conditioner

I believe when purchasing a product from any company and a warranty comes with it. You would think the company would stand behind their product as they proudly claim. The first year is COVERED by Solitare Homes any warranty work needed. As they cover the warranty they should be the one to follow up with their subcontractor the warranty is with. I should not have to do all the work for them. I agree after the year is up at this time the warranty I have purchased on top of the warranty that came with the home would be our responsibility at that time. Now keep in mind, I purchased this home for my elderly parents (in their 80's) and this started in the late spring to try to get the air conditioner fixed and the problem went through the summer (1 hundred degrees weather) I finally had to send my parents away till we could resolve the problem. At our cost. I had to go to the corp office to get anywhere!! The air is fixed!! We will fix the cracks in the drywall and move away from Solitare Homes as it wouldn't have done any good to call them. Now our year is up.
