Flew package 45 miles???

This really takes the cake. I shipped an overnight package as first delivery priority from Bloomington, IN to Indianapollis, IN --- a total of 45 miles. When the package did NOT arrive at the location the next morning, I promptly called for my promised refund. I was told that the delay was not their fault because a snowstorm prevented the flight from leaving Memphis in time. Even after explaining geography I had to spend two weeks getting someone to understand my package wouldn't go to Indy, then Memphis, then back. They insisted they did not owe me a refund because the weather delaying the plane was an act of god. Finally someone wrapped their head around the fact the package might not have been shipped from the city it was to be delivered in to Memphis, and then back to the city it was to be delivered in. Frontline FedEx employees are dumb, but at least the managers are not THAT dumb.
